UNITED NATIONS: President Joe Biden mentioned Wednesday that Russia has “shamelessly violated the main tenets” of the United Nations charter with its “brutal, unnecessary war” in Ukraine.
Offering a forceful condemnation of Russia’s invasion to the intercontinental body, Biden reported studies of Russian abuses against civilians in Ukraine “should make your blood run cold”.
He also explained Russian President Vladimir Putin’s new nuclear threats from Europe confirmed “reckless disregard” for his nation’s responsibilities as a signatory of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.
“We will stand in solidarity in opposition to Russia’s aggression. Period,” Biden reported.
