Brendan Fraser will get psychological just after 6-minute standing ovation for ‘The Whale’ at Venice Movie Festival

The actor is squarely back in Hollywood and now on the minds of all those imagining about the Academy Awards, many thanks to his general performance in “The Whale,” which reportedly been given a six-minute standing ovation right after its screening at the Venice Film Festival.

Movie shared on social media confirmed Fraser looking teary eyed as the audience applauded.

Directed by Darren Aronofsky, the movie focuses on Fraser’s character, Charlie, a reclusive 600-pound man hoping to reconnect with his estranged daughter.

“Stranger Matters” actress Sadie Sink performs his daughter.

“The Mummy” star is remaining touted as a severe Oscars contender with his portrayal in the drama.

In accordance to Wide variety, Fraser donned a prosthetic match to engage in Charlie and he informed reporters at the film competition more than the weekend of the problems of the role such as having to “find out how to transfer in a new way.”

“I produced muscle tissues I did not know I had,” Fraser claimed.
