Bryce Dallas Howard states she was paid a lot less than Chris Pratt for ‘Jurassic World’ movies

The actress, talking to Insider, mentioned she was compensated “so considerably a lot less” than her co-star Chris Pratt for their function in the “Jurassic Planet” films, introduced in 2015, 2018 and 2022.

“When I started off negotiating for ‘Jurassic,’ it was 2014, and it was a distinctive environment, and I was at a great downside,” she stated. “And, unfortunately, you have to signal up for three films, and so your specials are established.”

Sooner or later, she explained, she mentioned the disparity with Pratt, who took motion to get his co-star equal terms on other franchise-linked alternatives, like games and concept park rides.

“He literally explained to me: ‘You fellas will not even have to do everything. I am gonna do all the negotiating. We are gonna be paid out the similar, and you never have to believe about this, Bryce,'” Howard claimed. “And I enjoy him so substantially for executing that. I seriously do, mainly because I have been compensated far more for people types of things than I at any time was for the motion picture.”

CNN has reached out to Howard’s agent for even more comment.

In the films, Howard stars as Claire Dearing, the Jurassic Globe operations manager, and Pratt performs Owen Grady, a Velociraptor expert and dinosaur handler.

“Jurassic Entire world: Dominion,” the sixth film in the Jurassic Park franchise, introduced in an believed $143.3 million in its opening weekend.
