The new trailer for “Bizarre: The Al Yankovic Story” dropped on Monday, that includes Radcliffe as the famed quippy singer. Radcliffe — with his curly brown mop of hair, wire-rim eyeglasses and bushy mustache — is almost unrecognizable.
“My full life all I wished was to make up new text to a tune that by now exists,” Radcliffe, as Yankovic, states in the trailer. From there, the trailer usually takes off — chronicling the bizarre increase of Unusual Al, such as a hook-up scene with Madonna (played by Evan Rachel Wooden).
The film, which also characteristics Quinta Brunson as Oprah Winfrey and Rainn Wilson as Dr. Demento, was to start with declared in January and will premiere in September at the Toronto Intercontinental Movie Pageant. It will then be offered to stream for free on The Roku Channel on November 4.
