houthi: India to supply aid to family members of two Indians killed in UAE: Envoy – Situations of India


DUBAI: India has mentioned that it will deliver “whatever guidance” is feasible to the households of the two Indian citizens killed in a suspected Houthi drone attack near the Abu Dhabi airport that sparked a number of explosions in the United Arab Emirates’ cash.
Two Indians and a Pakistani countrywide have been killed and 6 others hurt in Monday’s assault claimed by Houthi rebels in Yemen.
The explosions were brought about by “little flying objects”, quite possibly drones, that hit three petroleum tankers in Abu Dhabi.
Speaking to The Nationwide newspaper on Monday, India’s Ambassador to the UAE, Sunjay Sudhir, said the Indian authorities would provide “whatever aid is possible” to the families of the two deceased Indian citizens.
The Indian embassy is however to announce the names of the two Indians killed in the assault.
Meanwhile, messages of condemnation and solidarity have poured in from many quarters, a working day soon after the drone attack.
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia known as Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
The Saudi Crown Prince expressed his deepest condolences for the deceased and his needs for a speedy recovery for the injured. Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Overseas Affairs also condemned the assault in “the strongest conditions.”
The UAE reserves the correct to respond to these terrorist attacks and felony escalation,” a statement from the UAE’s Ministry of Overseas Affairs and International Cooperation stated.
Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed reported that the drone assaults, which struck Abu Dhabi Countrywide Oil Firm (ADNOC) gas services and the airport, will not go unpunished.
The UAE has been component of a Saudi-led military services campaign in opposition to the Houthi rebels in Yemen because 2015.
Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed also gained a cellular phone phone from King Abdullah of Jordan, for the duration of which he condemned the Houthi assault on amenities and civil spots in the UAE.
The King affirmed Jordan’s help for the UAE in dealing with threats to its safety and expressed his condolences.
US Secretary of Point out,Antony Blinken also named Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed to affirm the US’ condemnation and denunciation of the terrorist assault of the terrorist Houthi militia on civil places and amenities in the UAE.
