MUMBAI: The famous Sunil Gavaskar landed himself in an avoidable controversy after generating an unwarranted remark about Rajasthan Royals batter Shimron Hetmyer and his spouse.
Gavaskar designed the remark right after Hetmyer, who returned to the participating in XI just after expending time with his wife for the beginning of their little one, came out to bat immediately after the loss of five wickets with RR chasing 151 runs against Chennai Tremendous Kings on Friday.
Gavaskar, sitting down at the commentary box, explained: “Hetmyer’s wife delivered, will Hetmyer produce for the Royals now?”
