COLOMBO: Sri Lanka’s ousted President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has been presented unique protection and a condition bungalow on his return to Colombo from Thailand the place he fled amid protests about the country’s worst financial crisis, even as he confronted calls for arrest from protesters and union leaders.
Rajapaksa was garlanded with bouquets by ministers and senior politicians immediately after disembarking from his flight in Colombo on Friday.
