Male dies immediately after crashing motor vehicle, firing gunshots near US Capitol – Situations of India

WASHINGTON: A gentleman died in an obvious suicide early on Sunday right after crashing his automobile into a barricade in the vicinity of the US Capitol and firing shots into the air, police reported.
Whilst the man was acquiring out of the crashed vehicle, it turned engulfed in flames just right after 4 a.m. (0800 GMT) at East Capitol Street and 2nd Street, US Capitol Law enforcement said.
“At this time, it does not look the man was targeting any associates of Congress, who are on recess, and it does not surface officers fired their weapons,” Capitol Law enforcement mentioned.
Police mentioned the man then fired many gunshots into the air alongside East Capitol Avenue. As police responded and approached, the man shot himself, law enforcement reported. No one was else injured.
The demise is becoming investigated by the Metropolitan Law enforcement Section in Washington, which did not straight away launch the man’s id or any specifics of his motives.
