District Administration of Kulgam in South Kashmir in collaboration with the Department of Tourism organised Aharbal Mela to endorse Kashmir tourism, particularly at the vacationer vacation spot Aharbal waterfall. The Aharbal Mela was arranged in close proximity to Aharbal Waterfall Park which is a very renowned spot in south Kashmir and always draws in a superior amount of site visitors both locals and outsiders throughout the summertime season. For the duration of the Aharbal Mela, various stalls ended up also set up by different departments such as Agriculture, Horticulture, Sheep, Animal Husbandry, Tourism, KVIB, Apiculture, Floriculture, Handicrafts and other departments. The nearby traditions and society were also shown in stalls. Thus, portray competitions have been organised in Aharbal Mela and college students from various schools participated in this opposition. Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Kulgam Dr. Bilal Mohi-ud-din Bhat reported to ANI, “on the directions of Lieutenant Governor (LG), the district administration is earning concerted and coordinated efforts to promote prospective tourism destinations like Aharbal which is an offbeat vacationer place. The pageant or mela is part of the Government’s initiative to endorse this offbeat location across Jammu & Kashmir.”
“The nearby traditional culture and cuisines have been also showcased throughout this competition. The members and locals lauded this phase taken by the district administration,” he even further included.
